Give Purrs A Chance Cat Adoption Center is located in Berkeley Springs WV at 51 Independence St. We have adopted out over 110 cats since we opened in May 2017. We are the largest cat café in the country with a five-bedroom house with up to 50 cats living in a laid back cage-free environment. Purrs is the only cat café with a separate kitten room with up to 20 kittens. We are a non-profit dependent on adoption fees, a modest $7 admission fee to stay and play all day and donations from our supporters. We work with several rescues who vet and socialize the cats before they arrive. Our dedicated staff and volunteers care for the cats until we find them their furever homes. We have a incredible Catique Boutique with hundreds of items for sale both vintage and new. We have contracted with many local artists and craftspeople to offer ceramics, jewelry, soaps, textiles and many other cat related items.
